However, in actuality, students at SMA Negeri 14 Medan encounter challenges in their history learning endeavours. Researchers conducted a study to enhance student learning outcomes in Indonesian History by focussing on the topic of Early Challenges of Independence during classroom instruction. The research sample included of 36 students from classroom XI-10 at SMA Negeri 14 Medan. The data collection method employed was the administration of a written test in the form of multiple-choice questions, which participants responded using the Wordwall web platform. The data analysis methodology employed in this study involved the utilisation of percentage analysis, namely by comparing the original conditions with the outcomes obtained in each iteration. The research findings indicate that implementing the Project Based Learning (PjBL) instructional model with the Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge (TPACK) approach in the Indonesian History curriculum, specifically focussing on the topic of Early Challenges of Independence, leads to enhanced student learning outcomes. The conclusion of this study confirms that the action hypothesis has been addressed. Specifically, the implementation of the Project Based Learning (PjBL) instructional model with the Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge (TPACK) approach has resulted in improved student learning outcomes in the field of Indonesian History. This study aims to: (1) Describe the learning styles of class VIA students in IPAS subjects (2) Describe the efforts made by teachers in the learning styles of students in IPAS lessons. This type of research is descriptive qualitative research, where in collecting data using three techniques, namely observation, interviews, and documentation. During the interview, the researcher used a structured interview, where several indicators of questions about learning styles were provided based on the learning style questionnaire. Data validity used, namely source triangulation and technique triangulation. This data analysis uses the Miles & Huberman model including data collection, data reductions, data display, conclusions. In this study there were 20 students who were interviewed and observed, and the results obtained from these 20 students, 10 of them had a visual learning style style covering 50% of the number of students in class VIA, 6 of them had an auditory learning style covering 30% of the number of students in class VIA, and 4 students had a kinesthetic learning style covering 20% of the number of students in class VIA. It can be seen that the visual learning style dominates with the most students compared to students in other learning styles. Based on these results, it states that the way of learning that each student or each individual has will certainly be very different.
2024-09-06T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2024 ALACRITY : Journal of Educationhttps://lpppipublishing.com/index.php/alacrity/article/view/401Improving Student Learning Outcomes in History Lessons Through a Jigsaw Type Cooperative Learning Model in CLASS X-2 SMA Negeri 2 Medan2024-08-25T13:06:08+00:00Cut Ainun Pudicutainunpudi@gmail.comPulung Sumantripulungsumantri@yahoo.comSiti Aisyahsittiaisyah79@guru.sma.belajar.id
This research is a type of PTK research, by implementing a jigsaw type cooperative learning model in class X-2 of SMA Negeri 2 Medan, the aim of this research is to improve student learning outcomes. Results of the application of learning in cycle I were student activity 72.31, teacher activity 76.13, classical absorption 74.30% and classical completeness 73.39. The learning outcomes of cycle I students do not meet the specified indicators of completeness, namely a minimum of 80% classical completeness. Then proceed to cycle II, by reflecting and correcting the shortcomings that occurred in cycle I. Application of this TGT model in cycle 2 after reflection, namely student activity 82.30, teacher activity 85.28, power classical absorption 79.97% and classical completeness 81.65. The lack of understanding about religious moderation, especially in MTsS Nur Bahri, Bubun Village, Tanjung Pura District, Langkat Regency, is the reason the author raises this issue. This article aims to provide an overview of the implementation of religious moderation and how it can shape tolerant, patriot, socially concerned, and just characters. The author uses a qualitative research approach with a case study method, involving observation and discussion. Data were collected through seminars that were part of the real work lecture (KKN) activities. The findings showed that religious moderation at MTsS Nur Bahri in Bubun Village received a positive response and supported its implementation. One of the pillars of religious moderation that has been implemented is the attitude of tolerance towards differences, both in terms of religion, ethnicity, and opinion. This shows that the implementation of religious moderation in the school has succeeded in forming a tolerant attitude among teachers and students.
2024-09-18T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2024 ALACRITY : Journal of Educationhttps://lpppipublishing.com/index.php/alacrity/article/view/432Students Anxiety in Speaking English at Second Semester Students of English Department in Nommensen HKBP Medan2024-09-18T12:59:34+00:00Della Afriani Br Padangdella.padang@students.uhn.ac.idCarolina Pakpahancarolina.pakpahan@uhn.ac.idFebrika Dwi Lestarifebrikadwilestari@uhn.ac.id
This research aims to investigate students' anxiety in Speaking English at Second Semester Students of English Deparment in Nommensen HKBP University Medan. This ability is particularly essential for Qur'an memorization students (santri tahfidz), who not only study general subjects but also have to memorize the Qur'an. The objective of this study is to examine the influence of self-regulation on academic stress among Qur'an memorization students at Madrasah Aliyah Ulumul Qur’an Pagar Air. The research method used is quantitative. The subjects in this study consist of 146 students from Madrasah Aliyah Ulumul Qur’an Pagar Air, with the sample selected using a probability sampling technique, specifically simple random sampling. Data collection was conducted using the Likert scale method by distributing questionnaires to the research subjects. Data analysis was carried out using a simple linear regression test. The results showed that there is an influence of self-regulation on academic stress among Qur'an memorization students at Madrasah Aliyah Ulumul Qur’an Pagar Air, with an R Square value of 0.276, an F value of 55.028, and a significance value of 0.000. This program aims to produce good citizens based on the values ??of Pancasila, which is the culture of the Indonesian nation. Building environmental awareness through citizenship education in elementary schools is very important, because it helps students understand their responsibilities towards the environment. The five principles of Pancasila are basic values ??that have developed into instrumental and rational values, creating a generation that cares about others and preserving nature. This research method uses a qualitative approach with literature study, collecting data from various relevant literature such as books, journals and official documents related to education citizenship in Indonesia. The data collection process began with a literature review through academic databases such as Google Scholar and JSTOR, followed by literature selection based on inclusion and exclusion criteria. The data is then categorized according to themes to produce an in-depth understanding of this topic. The approach used in this research is Classroom Action Research (PTK) with a cycle model consisting of four stages: planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The subjects of this research were first grade elementary school students who had difficulty recognizing letters, reading words and simple sentences. Big Book media was chosen because of its large size and attractive illustrations, which are expected to motivate students in the process of learning to read. The research results show that the use of the Big Book significantly increases students' reading interest and ability. This can be seen from the increase in students' reading test scores in each cycle. The use of the Big Book also encourages active involvement of students and makes it easier for them to understand reading. Based on these results, Big Book media is effectively used as a means of learning to read for grade I elementary school students.
2024-11-16T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2024 ALACRITY : Journal of Education
